I professionally learned oil painting for 10 years under the instruction of master oil painter (and all-around amazing human being!) Joanne Lopez Robinson. While my favorite and primary artistic medium is still oil painting, I have loved experimenting with other mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, pen and marker sketching, combining and layering mediums where possible. In recent years, I have also branched into fiber and craft arts like crocheting and jewelry making, collaging, and have experimented with painting on textiles as well.
As an emerging artist seeking to grow and hone my artistic vision, I have enjoyed drawing inspiration from little moments and inspirations from the people and places around me. I have filled notebooks and index cards with sketches from my travels near and far, whether to my local park or halfway across the world. These sketches serve as a sort of photographic art, drawing live moments through my eyes.
I hope you enjoy looking through my art and will come visit again soon!
